It's located right next to Old Town, so we had easy access to all the cool places. The rooms were really nice and comfy. We spent our days exploring the ancient town and even took a scenic sailboat ride along the river nearby. The hotel staff were super friendly and helped us plan our adventures. It was a world of fun and exploration!

The only thing I would ask for is more fun activities for young party-going people. The hotel was great for families and nature lovers, but we were looking for more excitement and nightlife.

Comfort, location, staff gentleness

Breakfast ! Too dry, overcooked ! Much better to eat in town and much cheaper ! Heating system which is very efficient but difficult to adjust with large variability between day and night temperatures, and inevitaably too dry in middle of night...

Excellent customer service was rendered by the front line staff and they do suprise me with a birthday cake...I would strongly recommend this hotel to my friends and business associates. :}} Cheers.

However there are room for improvement in the cleanliness of the room. The house keeping staff ought to vacuum the room on a daily basis as it was apparently dusty due to the cold winter and strong wind that bring in the dust from the surrounding mountainous areas

Quiet Side of Old Town: The location might be on the quiet side of the old town.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel! It exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness, hotel facilities, and location. The hotel was immaculately clean, and the staff did an excellent job maintaining it. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and we especially loved the indoor swimming pool and sauna. The location couldn't be better, as it was just outside of the Old Town and within walking distance to many places. We also enjoyed having breakfast on the outdoor platform outside of the resort cafeteria, with beautiful views of the surrounding area.

I had a great time staying at Intercontinental in Lijiang. The elegant property reflects ancient Chinese architecture, and the friendly staff made me feel incredibly welcome. I have to mention Winnie, the restaurant staff, who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect. The hotel has excellent facilities including a beautiful swimming pool and sauna, and the buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of Western and Chinese dishes.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The location of the hotel was perfect, just a few steps away from the old town and its attractions. the rooms were spacious, and we got to choose our preferred pillow which made the night even more relaxing. the breakfast spread was fantastic, with a mix of western and eastern options offered.

The hotel had a great breakfast buffet with a variety of food options. The room was spacious and had a Nespresso coffee machine which was a nice touch. The hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to the ancient town and the beautiful scenery.

The staff had limited English skills which made communication difficult at times. The laundry service was incredibly expensive, not worth the cost.

I had an amazing time at Intercontinental in Lijiang. The location was perfect, directly linked to the charming old town. The large and beautiful compound had a nice setting for the room facilities. The staff was very friendly and the spa facilities were top-notch. The terrace offered a breathtaking view of the Dragon snow mountain. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This hotel offers luxury amenities that fulfilled my exclusive needs. the Spa & wellness center was relaxing, and the indoor heated swimming pool was a highlight. the barbeque grills in the garden area were perfect for a private dinner.

Despite its luxurious amenities, the hotel lacked a sun terrace, so I could not sunbathe outside. this was a minor issue compared to the overall outstanding experience that this hotel provided.

The location of the hotel is great, nestled in the foothills that extend into Tibet. the breathtaking view of the mountains is a real charm. the restaurants around the hotel offer a variety of food that is tasty, especially in the Basil restaurant. the room is airy and comfortable, with nice touches that make the stay delightful. the bathroom is well-maintained and clean, a pleasure to use.
